Thank you!
Just wanted to thank everyone that saw us last Sunday opening for RCPM. Roger Clyne has long been my favorite artist and this was our third opportunity to open for the Peacemakers. It is always an exciting night, that goes by far too quickly. Thanks to the people who stood at the front of the stage for our entire set. And a big gracias to everyone that took the time to chat with us after the show and even grab a CD. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. We hope to see you in the future. Thanks to Roger Clyne and the A Club for having us.
We played 4 new songs that will be featured on our new album, which we will begin recording this weekend. We plan to document the recording pricess with videos that will be posted on all our websites. We will also have some free goodies for mailing list members as we move through the process. Keep an eye on the calendar for upcoming shows. Thanks again, Jason Buffalo Jones Irv's
A big thank you to everyone that made it out to Irv's for the show tonight. So much fun. Met a lot of new people and saw a lot of old friends. This was our first show in Spokane in quite sometime. It won;t be out last. Remember that we are opening for Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers at the A Club on May 22. See you then.
Tonight in Kennewick! New music on the horizon.
Hello all-
Well after a long hibernation, Buffalo Jones is slowly returning to playing shows. First off will be an acoustic show featuring Jason and Glenn tonight (Friday, Feb 18) at 9pm in Kennewick at Rock Reactor. We will be opening the show for our former bassist Chris Plummer's band 45th Parellel. Should be good times. On March 5, there will be another acoustic show at Benson Vineyards in Manson, Washington up by Lake Chelan. We are supplying the musical entertainment for the Pinot Envy party. Check out their website bensonvineyards.com for more information on that. We are hard at work on the new album and are about to start recording. We will definitely be debuting some new songs at these upcoming shows and will be doing some full band rock n roll shows in the very near future. We are all excited about the new material and ready to share it with you all. Maybe we will see some of you tonight. Take Care! That is all. Website Back Up!!
Jason spilled beer on the server again. Well, not really, he just depends SO much on poor Tony to take care of him.
Did you miss us? You should thank Tony, the most awesomest ex-drummer (well, he is still a drummer, but not OUR drummer) in the universe for fixing the site in between surfing and drinking mai tai's. Without him you would be looking at a Yahoo! placeholder page, and missing out on the most excellent Buffalo Jones news! That would suck. All Hail King Tony! It's good to be back! Carry on... Toys For Tots, the 90's revisited and more!
Hello all-
It's been a while since we last talked. Our regrets for not keeping in better touch. We've been very busy and have a lot of exciting things on the horizon that we hope you will come be a part of. Here is a rundown of what's coming up: 12/17-Toys for Tots Benefit Concert at the Knitting Factory! You don't want to miss this one. All proceeds from this event benefit Toys for Tots. It will be an amazing night of good old-fashioned rock and roll music. We have a limited amount of advance tickets we can get you for $5. It will be $7 at the door or free with a new $10 toy. Let us know if you need tickets soon. Ok not all of it, but most of it was fantastic and has played a huge part in the development of the Buffalo Jones sound. We are excited to announce that we will be playing a set of all our favorite hits from the decade at the Blvd on Friday, January 1st! Now we know some of you will be tired from ringing in the new year the previous night, but drag yourself out if you have to, because you don't want to miss this show. Oh, and as an added incentive, we need you help with the set list! We will perform the top 5 requested songs. That's right we promise to play whatever 5 songs you guys request the most. So let us know what you want to hear. You can tell us anyway you want to (email, myspace, facebook, whatever). Just make sure to get your requests in by Christmas day. You can request any (and we do mean any!) song from the decade. We will play the top 5 no matter what they are. So hit us up please! Check the calendar for directions and more info. Introducing Lennon Von Weller.....and a last minute acoustic show
If you have been out to one of our shows in the last week or two, you might have noticed something different near the back of the stage. We would like to officially announce the addition of our new drummer, Lennon Von Weller. Lennon has been working his ass off to get up to speed the last month or so and has played 3 excellent shows so far. He aslo has the largest drum kit I have ever seen (get your mind out of the gutter!). We are excited to have Lennon join the Buffalo. So come out to a show and say hello to the newest member of Buffalo Jones.
Speaking of shows, we are playing and acoustic set this Friday at Calypsos in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Should be a fun time. Show starst at 7pm. I think the cover is $3. More information is available on the Calendar. So if you are in the area come by and hang out with us for a bit. Hope to see you there. That is all Acoustic show in Chelan and the debut of our new drummer
